The iHeart Radio awards are different from other awards in that they celebrate artists and songs that have been most played on radio stations across the country each year, creating unique and diverse results that can be difficult to predict and bet on.

What Are The iHeart Radio Awards?

The iHeart Radio Awards have been going on for over a decade, since 2014, and center on the most popular music performers of the previous year. Most of the winners are chosen through radio data, such as airplay, using the iHeart Radio Chart, while others are open to the public vote.

Where Can You Watch the Results?

The winners will be announced on March 17, 2025, in a ceremony that will be presented again by LL Cool J, who originally ran the show during the 2022 season. This ceremony will also see performances from Billie Eilish (who is herself nominated for the Pop Artist of the Year award, Gracie Abrams (nominated for Best New Pop Artist), and Nelly. You will be able to watch the music awards live on Fox at 8pm ET.

Who is Most Likely to Win?

There are a number of options when it comes to who is most likely to win the Pop Artist of the Year award, including both newcomers and those who have been in the business for a long time. Here are some of the top predictions:

The celebrity with the best odds so far is Chappell Roan, whose astronomical rise to stardom occurred throughout 2024. Chappell Roan is not the only celebrity in the running, though, and Billie Eilish is also a top candidate for Pop Artist of the Year. Not only did Billie Eilish bring out a new album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, but she also started out on a US tour. This album was well-reviewed after previous successes ofWhen We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? Her success has built up over many years, starting with music releases on SoundCloud when she was just 13.

However, none of them have been named the pop queen in quite the same way as Taylor Swift, who has millions of fans worldwide and an almost endless array of releases, including new recordings of her previous albums that had been produced under Big Machine Records. Her 2024 releases included The Tortured Poets Department in April of that year, which included the song ‘Florida,’ on which she collaborated with Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine.
