Reagan didn’t fare any better with critics, as the flick has received a score of 18% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the film has proven a hit with audiences, as it has scored 98% with viewers on the site.
The negative reviews hurt the flick hard at the box office, as it grossed $30.1 million on a $25 million budget.
As film fans have seemingly enjoyed the movie, Dennis Quaid could escape the Worst Actor title this year, but the film’s dire performance makes him a frontrunner for the award.
Joaquin Phoenix – Joker: Folie à Deux
It might be hard to believe that Joaquin Phoenix has received a Worst Actor nomination at the upcoming Golden Raspberry Awards.
After all, the acclaimed actor won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance as Arthur Fleck/Joker in Joker (2019).
While the first installment of Joker was critically acclaimed, its sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux, was a critical and commercial failure.
For instance, it received a score of 31% out of 362 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, and it earned the same Popcornmeter score from film fans worldwide.
As a result, it has received seven nominations at the Razzies 2025, including Worst Picture and Worst Director.
