Raygun, whose real name is Rachael Gunn, shot to fame following her unforgettable breakdancing at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

To make matters worse, her viral performance resulted in international criticism and online bullying, causing her to retire from competitive breaking in November 2024.

What Reality Shows Might Raygun Appear On?
Many TV networks are reportedly eager to sign Raygun and secure her place in an upcoming reality TV show.
However, it is believed they don’t want her for a one-time stint, as many have offered her a lucrative deal to secure her exclusivity to a network for 12 to 24 months, ensuring she doesn’t appear on another channel.
In September 2024, it was reported that Raygun had signed an exclusive deal with Channel 10, with many suspecting she would appear on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here (Australia).
However, the professional breakdancer and academic shot down the rumors, stating she has no plans to appear on the show.
Yet, she could appear on other reality TV shows in 2025, such as Dancing with the Stars, Celebrity Hunted, Celebrity MasterChef, Lego Masters Australia, or Celebrity Gogglebox, to name a few.
Is Raygun Open to Appearing on Reality TV?
Despite reports that Raygun has been offered various lucrative deals from many TV networks, she stated she will not appear on reality TV anytime soon.
When asked if she will appear on I’m a Celebrity during an appearance on Fifi, Fev, & Nick, Raygun commented, “Yeah, no, I will not be going into the jungle. I just don’t think reality TV is a good fit for me.”
It appears her reluctance is due to a fear that her appearance could result in the creation of many more memes.
She stated, “I have a very memeable face as we’ve seen. There’s been some amazing memes that have come out, and I just don’t think reality TV is the space for me. So, I’m going to focus on things where I can really bring joy and to try and encourage people to be creative.”
It appears Raygun isn’t backing down, either, as she reiterated her comments on Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie.
She stated she has had “a lot of reality TV requests,” but it isn’t something she plans to pursue, as she wants to preserve her mental health.
She said, “I mean, look, as someone that went viral from their performance at the Olympics, I think I’ve got a very memeable face. It’s very expressive, and I just feel like going on reality television is just not the right move. It just fits so many different moods. To be honest, the last couple of months, I’ve been really focusing on just kind of managing this whole situation. All invitations and things go to my amazing agent, so I can keep focusing on my mental health.”
Despite refusing to enter a reality TV show, the right offer could cause Raygun to dip her toe into the genre in 2025.
