Who Are the Top Rock Artist Nominees?

Five of the biggest names in rock music at present have earned a nomination for Top Rock Artist.

Here are the 2024 nominees:

  • Jelly Roll
  • Hozier
  • Noah Kahan
  • Linkin Park
  • Zach Bryan

Who is Most Likely to Win?

Zach Bryan is tipped to win Top Rock Artist at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards. The country star has received the most nominations for the ceremony, as he’s up for 21 awards, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Artist, to name a few.

He’s also the favorite to win Top Rock Artist this year, which is partially thanks to the release of The Great American Bar Scene, which reached number two on the Billboard 200.

His critically acclaimed fifth studio album featured collaborations with various respected artists, such as Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, John Moreland, and Noeline Hoffman.

“Pink Skies,” the lead single from his album, even hit the top spot on the US Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart.

Unlike Zach Bryan, Linkin Park is familiar with the Top Rock Artist category, as the band has received five nominations and one win in 2004.

However, the band has never won the award with their two new bandmates, Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain.

The award would be proof that the group made the right decision by reforming following the tragic death of lead vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017.

From Zero, Linkin Park’s eighth studio album, could help them take home the award for the second time, as it debuted at number one in various international charts, including the US Billboard Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. Plus, it reached number two on the US Billboard 200.

The album’s lead single, “The Emptiness Machine,” hit the top spot on Billboard’s US Rock Airplay and peaked at number three on the US Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, too.

Also, they recently commenced the From Zero World Tour, which is scheduled to end in November 2025, helping to place them in a stronger position for the Top Rock Artist award.

Jelly Roll is another country artist with a rock vibe, helping him land a nomination in the competitive category.

The rapper-turned-country star is used to jumping between genres, and it’s hardly surprising to hear he’s enjoyed success in the rock charts, which could result in the Top Rock Artist award coming his way in December.

After all, his tenth studio album, Beautifully Broken, featured collaborations with famous artists from various genres, such as Skylar Grey, Machine Gun Kelly, Wiz Khalifa, Ilsey Uber, Halsey, and Keith Urban.

His chart success could help him beat the competition in the category, as his album peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200.

While Hozier and Noah Kahan are worthy of Top Rock Artist, they are unlikely to have had the same success in the charts or online as the above acts this year, which might reduce their chances of accepting the accolade.

If you believe Noah Kahan will win Top Rock Artist at the Billboard Music Awards 2024, you could win $1100 by betting $100 at 1xBet if it happens.
