The full lineup includes:

  • Ferne McCann – TOWIE star

  • Josh Jones – a comedian
  • Sam Aston – a Coronation Street actor
  • Anton Ferdinand – a former professional soccer player
  • Mollie Peace – The Traitors UK runner-up

Who is Most Likely to Win the Show?

Mollie Pearce, the runner-up on season two of The Traitors UK, is the current favorite to win Dancing on Ice 2025.

The reality star and disability model isn’t afraid of a challenge, as her competitive side took her to the final of the hit BBC One show, and she is likely eager to do the same in the ice-skating competition.

Also, she will likely be eager to prove that wearing a stoma doesn’t need to stand in the way of fun and physical activities, such as strutting her stuff on ice skates. She needs to wear a stoma to support living with ulcerative colitis, an autoimmune system causing large intestine inflammation.

Coronation Street’s Sam Aston will walk away from the famous cobbles to bust a move on the ice. He is the second favorite to win the show at present and views it as an opportunity for the UK audience to see a different side of him.

During an interview with This Morning, Aston said he is “nervous but excited to get started. It is going to be nice for the public to see me rather than Chesney.”

Dan Edgar might have learned a thing or two from his ex-girlfriend, Amber Davies, who appeared on Dancing on Ice in 2024.

While Edgar and Davies are no longer together, he might have picked up a move or two from the theater star during their relationship; however, he doesn’t seem to think so.

After it was announced Edgar had joined the lineup, he commented, “I like to think I can ice skate a little, but I’m a terrible dancer, so that is going to need some work.”

Ferne McCann might have what it takes to win Dancing on Ice season 17. The former TOWIE star is likely eager to embrace a new challenge now her reality TV show, Ferne: My Family & Me, is over.

Also, she is no stranger to coming out at the top on various TV competition shows, as she placed third on the 2015 season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, reached fourth place on Celebrity Best Home Cook in 2021, and was one of four finalists in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2022.

There is no doubt she will have her sights set on first place on Dancing on Ice in 2025.
