Who Will Win Joshua vs Dubois?
Who Will Win Joshua vs Dubois?
Anthony Joshua has enjoyed a boxing career most up-and-coming fighters can only dream about. The 34-year-old Brit is a two-time former unified world heavyweight champion, earning WBA, IBF, and WBO titles twice.
There is no question he’s gone face-to-face with some of the biggest names in the sport, including Oleksandr Usyk, Joseph Parker, Dillian Whyte, and Wladimir Klitschko.
With only three losses out of 31 fights, Joshua isn’t afraid to battle out in the boxing ring with the biggest and the bravest and will go up against fellow Brit Daniel Dubois this September.
While Joshua might have the punching power and fans in his corner, Dubois isn’t to be overlooked, as he’s only lost 2 out of 23 fights and earned 20 wins by KO.

When and Where is Joshua vs Dubois?
Boxing fans don’t need to wait too long for Joshua vs Dubios, as the heavyweight fighters will meet at Wembley Stadium on September 21, 2024. The fighters will punch it out in the ring to walk away with the IBF world heavyweight title.
The belt was formerly worn by Oleksandr Usyk, but he was forced to vacate it due to his rematch against Tyson Fury, which stopped him from facing Dubois, the mandatory challenger.
Joshua is no stranger to lifting the belt, as he initially held the title in 2018 and 2019; however, there is no guarantee that it will be his hold this September.
Could Daniel Dubois Beat Anthony Joshua?
Anthony Joshua might have a killer right hand, but most passionate boxing fans wouldn’t rule Dubois out of lifting the IBF belt.
The 26-year-old Londoner has a high tempo that could tire out Joshua, and he has the punching power to win the fight by KO.
However, Joshua knows how to exploit openings, which Dubois could offer to him in the ring, as it was a big mistake he made in his fight against Hrgovic in June 2024.
History could repeat itself, as September won’t be their first time in the ring together. According to Dubois, he KO’d Joshua when sparring many years ago, proving he has the power to knock Joshua off his feet.
However, Joshua has rejected the claim, as he recently told Sky Sports, “I knew Daniel from the GB squad. I’d just turned professional, but I stayed around the GB squad. I’d still train there, so we would spar. Good spars. This whole conversation that you’re trying to get at, he just cracked me with a good shot. But I stood on my feet.
“I don’t know where this whole narrative that someone turned my lights off came from. There were a lot of people that were in the gym that day. And they’ve come out and said nothing happened.”
