This show operates on a system of elimination, meaning that couples who have fallen out of favor with the audience will be dumped from the villa.

The £50,000 prize that is received at the end by the couples can be divided 50/50. The show has, however, also employed a tactic in previous series, wherein the winners are given two envelopes, one of which contains a cash prize and the other which is empty, showcasing the trust that the couple will have in each other should they open the wrong envelope. The person with the money envelope then gets the opportunity to share the prize or keep it for themselves.
