Who Will Be The Winning Couple of Love Island 2024?
Love Island is back for another season, and so far, it has been an emotive and enthralling ride for fans of the show.
If you have never heard of it, it is a reality TV show where people look to find love and are placed into a villa on a Spanish island to find it. It is a spin-off focusing on everyday individuals. In contrast, the original show, Celebrity Love Island, which began in 2005, focused on those who had already been on television or had famous careers in other areas.
By the end of July, this season will be over and many people who have watched it are curious to see which couple host Maya Jama will announce as the winners.
Paddy Power odds at 1.34 predicts a 76.92% chance that Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel will be the winning couple of Love Island 2024. Discover the current Odds now HERE.
How is The Top Couple Selected?
The best couple is selected through a process of elimination and viewer votes, which are usually done online and calculated for the final episode.
Viewers tend to vote for their favorite couples based on the entertainment value, the wholesomeness of their relationships and whether or not they have made it to the final round. This show operates on a system of elimination, meaning that couples who have fallen out of favor with the audience will be dumped from the villa.
The £50,000 prize that is received at the end by the couples can be divided 50/50. The show has, however, also employed a tactic in previous series, wherein the winners are given two envelopes, one of which contains a cash prize and the other which is empty, showcasing the trust that the couple will have in each other should they open the wrong envelope. The person with the money envelope then gets the opportunity to share the prize or keep it for themselves.
