Unfortunately, the romantic relationship took a long hiatus, as the couple officially split in January 2004, only to rekindle in July 2021.

Breakup rumors have been circulating in the press for many months, as various reports have stated the couple is no longer living together. 

Despite being snapped by paparazzi looking happy, sources have informed the press that the singer/actress and the two-time Academy Award winner are leading separate lives.

Entertainment Tonight recently reported that the couple had put their $60.8 million marital home on the market, which they bought in 2023.

However, it is believed the couple hasn’t officially separated, but they are taking time away from their marriage and are hopeful that their relationship will improve.

When Did the Divorce Rumors Start?

Rumors of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marital woes began in May 2024, with In Touch Weekly announcing that the couple is heading for divorce.

Since then, People confirmed they hadn’t been pictured together since March 30th, 2024, but work commitments could be responsible, as Affleck has been busy filming The Accountant 2 and J.Lo is starring in various films.

Both were spotted wearing their wedding rings when photographed separately in May, and paparazzi have since snapped the couple together.

Yet, Jennifer Lopez appeared visibly uncomfortable during press in Mexico City for her new movie Atlas, as a reporter asked if she would like to address the relationship rumors, forcing her to reply, “You know better than that.”

After failing to comment on the rumors, the singer announced she had decided to cancel her tour “to be with her children, family, and close friends.”

Speculation continued about her marriage to Affleck, only for the couple to be snapped exchanging air kisses following lunch with the actor’s mother.

However, with news that Ben Affleck continues to live in a rental property alone, the divorce rumors are showing no signs of slowing down.
